Steve Pace, Parts Manager at Stotz Equipment in Nephi, UT, has played a key role in transforming a small ward Christmas activity into the annual Payson Community Crèche event.
This community-wide celebration, which began in 2005, showcases hundreds of Nativity displays and features uplifting musical performances, drawing people from all faiths to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
Dane Bateman, Nephi Service Manager, shares, “Steve is well known and loved in the community. His acts of service, often behind the scenes, have impacted countless lives.”
In addition to the nativity exhibits, the event also collects donations for local food pantries and blankets for warming centers, emphasizing community service. What started as a humble initiative has grown into a beloved tradition, bringing hope and the spirit of Christmas to all who attend. Steve and his wife, Selena, leave a lasting legacy of integrity and care in the Payson area.
