Stotz Equipment’s 2022 Precision Agriculture Summit was well attended with a strong focus on sustainability and planning for the future.
Las Vegas, NV, January 26, 2022 – Nearly 150 people representing dozens of farming operations were in attendance at the Fourth Annual 2022 Stotz Equipment Precision Ag Summit held at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last month. The event is organized and hosted by the company’s Precision Team. This year, the focus was on what sustainability means to their customers and planning for the future.
The Summit opened and closed with open exhibit floor hours that focused on hands-on training, giving customers the opportunity to test out new technologies and connect with vendors while learning more about the support packages and in-house solutions Stotz Equipment offers to fit each operation's unique needs. The two-day event included presentations from the Stotz Equipment team, John Deere, and a panel of farmers that presented to the group, talking about the technologies they are using today and how it is helping them improve their agricultural operations. The presentations were followed by round table discussions that focused on what sustainability means to a producer and what Stotz Equipment and John Deere can do to help their customers with their sustainability journey. They also highlighted how Stotz Equipment can help customers better utilize technology and data to their advantage and gave attendees the opportunity to talk to each other about how they are addressing challenges. Enthusiastic customer participation and response indicate the event was a success.
Stotz Equipment believes that its long-term success is dependent upon its ability to leverage changing technologies to help its customers improve the performance of its operations. Last year, the company changed the department’s name from “Stotz Equipment Precision Ag” to simply “Stotz Precision” as they expand their technology applications in the golf and construction industries. With a Precision Team of around 30 dedicated individuals, the company continues to develop this segment of their business, offering creative solutions and strengthening relationships with their forward-thinking customer base.
Stotz Equipment is a family-owned and operated John Deere dealership that has been serving customers for seventy-five years.
